Jorge Alessandri is the president of the Miami-Dade Fellowship of Christian Peace Officers (FCPO) and the Miami-Dade Fellowship of Christian First Responder ministry (FCFR). He is also a retired master sergeant from the Miami Beach Police Department (MBPD), where he continues to serve as a chaplain/chaplain supervisor and reserve officer, and the Coordinator for the Miami-Dade Multi-Agency Peer Support Team.
During his tenure at the Miami Beach Police Department, Jorge worked in various positions, including road patrol, Special Victims Unit, Secret Service Task Force, Internal Affairs, Administrative Sergeant and the Property and Evidence Unit. He helped start the first ever peer support team for MBPD as well, solidifying his determination for helping officers and their families.
In 2022, Jorge retired early because he felt led to do more in ministry and for his community. He has been married for 20 years and has a 16-year-old son, and he is a deacon with his home church, Christ Journey.
The FCPO/FCFR ministry means the world to him. He has witnessed how the love of Jesus has helped people overcome challenges they were unable to overcome on their own. Jorge has had his own struggles and thanks God for His deep love for us. He prays that you, too, would know how much you matter to God.
